ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery and equipment across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, mining, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install mechanical components and systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs or part replacements
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in heavy industry or manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
